IMPORTANT

 PS 108Q is a peanut/nut free school.  Nuts, peanuts or any products containing nuts or 

peanuts are NOT allowed in the classrooms/cafeteria. 

Early Registration

 Early registration will be held Thursday, August 7th from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Please bring the following items:

• The child's birth certificate or passport

• Proof of residency (example: utility bill, documentation from a federal, state or local government agency, original notarized lease)

• Child's immunization records (vaccines)

• Parent must have their own photo identification

• If your child is entering grades 1 - 5, please bring their last report card.

Please note the following:

• Only a parent or guardian may register a child

• Please bring the child with you when you register

• For 3K and PreK - We will only register children who have an accepted seat on MySchools for these grades

• Please be prepared to spend some time filling out the registration documents.

3K & PK Staggered School Schedule - September 2025

To ensure a smooth transition for our students and families, we will be adhering to the following staggered schedule so students and families can become acclimated to their classrooms, staff and routines.

 One Parent / Guardian will attend school with 3K & PK children on Thursday, September 4th, 2025.  Please see the schedule below for details:

Thursday, September 4th -  3K  and Pre K Classes:

Group A students will attend with one parent / guardian from 9:00 am to 10:30 am

Group B students will attend with one parent / guardian from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm

Friday, September 5th - 3K  and Pre K classes:

Only students will attend from 9:00 am to 11:30 am (shortened schedule)

Monday, September 8th - 3K and Pre K classes:

Regular school day schedule for all students

Kindergarten Orientation Schedule 

Thursday, September 4th, 2025

To ensure a smooth transition, we will be hosting a Kindergarten orientation so students and families can meet their teacher and learn more about our Kindergarten program.  Only ONE parent / guardian will be permitted to accompany your child on Orientation Day.  Parent and child will attend their designated session and then dismiss for the day.  Please bring your child's labeled supplies with you.

Please locate your child's class and adhere to the following schedule.

Arrive 9:30 am (dismissal 10:00 am) - Parent / Guardian and student will enter though the silver doors located on 109th street. 

          Class K-214 - Ms. Giallanzo

          Class K-216 - Ms. Cervini  and Ms. Damiani

          Class K-218 - Ms. Vitrano and Ms. Degen

Arrive 10:30 am (dismissal 11:00 am) - Parent / Guardian and student will enter though the main entrance located on 109th Avenue.

              Class K-219 - Ms. Charles

           Class K-221 - Ms. Anastasio

           Class K-314 - Ms. Dell Aquila

Arrive 11:30 am (dismissal 12:00 pm) - Parent / Guardian and student will enter though the main entrance located on 109th Avenue.
