PTA Letter # 2 September 19, 2012 Dear Parents/Guardians, Each year we ask you to please contribute to our membership drive and become a member of the Parent Teacher Association of PS 108Q. As a PTA we organize fundraisers in order to arrange events for the children and their families to enjoy. In the past, we have hosted the Halloween show, end of year Carnival and other special events. We look forward to hosting similar events throughout the coming year in hopes that you will have a memorable school year. In addition to family functions, we also coordinate class picture days, organize bake sales and holiday sales, contribute and assist in senior year activities and host an appreciation lunch for our wonderful teachers. We are also there to volunteer in numerous other school activities and events when our principal and parent coordinator need us. Please consider joining us by donating and/or volunteering your time. The PTA works hard for your children and school. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. Please fill in the information below and check the box of the amount you are enclosing and return it in the attached envelope. Cash or money orders made out to PS 108Q PTA will be accepted. No checks please. We ask that you return your dues no later that Oct 5th. We appreciate your continued support.
