PARENT LETTER #7

 

September 11, 2013

 

Dear Parent/Guardian:

 

All parents must complete a  new lunch form for the 2013-2014 school year to determine whether your child/children are eligible for free lunch. The form must be returned to your child’s teacher before Tuesday, September 17, 2013. 

 

  • If you paid full price last year for your child’s lunch, you will continue to pay that amount until the new application is processed.
  • If you paid reduced price last year for child’s lunch, you will continue to pay that amount until the new application is processed.
  • If your child’s lunch was free last year, it will continue to be free until the new application is processed.

 

You must fill out a lunch application even if your child is going to bring lunch from home every day.   Each family will receive only one application.  This means all children attending PS108 must be listed on that one application.  If you need assistance filling out this form please come to the school between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM .  We will have staff available to assist you.  There are directions noted on the inside of the application.

 

Please note breakfast will continue to be free to all students.  If you are not eligible for free lunch, lunch will cost $1.75  per day ($8.75 per week.) The full pay lunch amount has changed from $1.50 to 1.75 per day.
