In order to assist you in planning for days when PS 108 is closed for students, the following is a brief calendar of all holidays/days off for the 2016-2017 school year. Please keep and refer to this calendar throughout the year.
September 12, 2016 Eid al-Adha October 3 & 4, 2016 Rosh Hashanah October 10, 2016 Columbus Day October 12, 2016 Yom Kippur November 8, 2016 Election Day November 11, 2016 Veterans Day November 24 & 25, 2016 Thanksgiving Recess December 26, 2016 – January 2, 2017 Winter Recess January 16, 2017 Martin Luther King Jr. Day February 20-24, 2017 Midwinter Recess April 10-18, 2017 Spring Recess May 29, 2017 Memorial Day June 8, 2017 Chancellor’s Conference Day June 12, 2017 Clerical Day June 26, 2017 Eid al-Fitr
Wednesday, June 28, 2017 will be the last day of school. Students will have a half day dismissal.
The first Parent/Teacher Conference will be held on September 22, 2016. You will receive a detailed letter with all of the information.
Additional Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held in December, March and May.
