PARENT LETTER #15                                                                                March 29, 2016

 

Dear Parents of Grade 3, 4 & 5:

 

This is to remind you that your child will be taking the following NYS tests:

 

        NYS ELA Reading Test

Grade 3, 4 & 5 - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday – April 5^th, 6^th, and 7^th

 

        NYS Math Test

             Grades 3, 4 & 5 – Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday – April 13^th, 14^th, and 15^th

           

Please note the following:

 

• Students must come to school on time (8:00 am).  Latecomers will not

be allowed into the classrooms.

• Your child must take all parts of the tests. Please make sure he/she comes

to school all days.

• Please make sure that your child gets a good night’s sleep and eats a nourishing breakfast.
• Have your child bring two #2 pencils.
• If your child wears eyeglasses, please make sure they have them for the test.

 

Our teachers have provided your children with strategies to become better readers, writers and test takers.  We are confident that our children will do well on these assessments.  Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
