  • Important Update form Chancellor regarding our school being in a yellow zone October 21, 2020 Dear Families, I hope your family is keeping safe and healthy. This week, the State of New York made some important announcements regarding its designation of geographic zones reflecting elevated levels of COVID-19 transmission. I am writing today to explain how this affects your school and important next steps. Here is today’s update:  The State has now designated your school to be in one of the city’s “yellow zones.”  Per State guidance, this means your building can stay open for teaching and learning, with additional precautions in place to ensure the safety and health of your school community.  An important precautionary step that all yellow zone schools will perform is mandatory weekly testing of ...

  • Important - In school learning suspended until November 1, 2020 - All students will be remote (See below) October 19, 2020As always, the health and safety of our students and staff, and everyone in the DOE family across the city, is our top priority. As you know, our school building was closed today for an initial 24 hours because two or more members of our school community tested positive for COVID-19. School Arrival Times and Locations

Please note the change in the school day hours for in person learning:

Arrival time: 8:30 am

3K and Pre arrival site - Main Entrance

Grades K & 1 arrival site - Silver Doors on 109th Street

Grade 2 arrival site - Brown doors on 109th Street

Grade 3 arrival site - Right side of the school yard brown doors into the auditorium on 108th street

Grade 4 arrival site - Left side of the school yard brown doors into the auditorium on 108th street

Grade 5 arrival site - Green doors on 108th street

Students who arrive after 8:40 am must use the main entrance


School Dismissal times and locations

3-K dismissal 1:30 pm - sign in at the security desk & pick up from the classroom

Pre-K dismissal 1:30 pm - Silver doors on 109th Street

Grades K & 1 dismissal 1:40 pm - Silver doors on 109th street

Grade 2 dismissal 1:40 pm - Green turf in large schoolyard closest to 108th street

Grade 3 dismissal 1:50 pm - Brown doors on 109th street

Grade 4 dismissal 1:50 pm - Large school yard

Grade 5 dismissal 1:50 pm - Green doors on 108th street

Please arrive on time for dismissal
