Shout Out

  • A great celebration of Fowler Day On Wednesday, May 30th, PS 108Q celebrated our Annual "Fowler Day"!  This is a day for us to remember Captain Vincent G. Fowler, the firefighter the school is named after.  Captain Fowler's family comes to the school to see a fabulous performance from our afterschool students.  This year was no exception!  Ms. Schneller, Ms. Lodescar and Ms. Saunier put together an amazing show and we are so grateful to them.  Thank you to all the students for your incredible performances.  "Fowler Day" means so much to us and it is always such a beautiful day celebrating the life and contributions of Captain Fowler.

  • The Lion King comes to PS 108! They say it takes a village to raise a child but it also takes a village to put on an amazing performance!   Thank you to Ms. Lodescar, Ms. Schneller and Ms. Saunier for directing, choreographing and coordinating the music for the fantastic show last night.  Thank you to all of the students who worked so hard and really "wowed" us with their performances.  We are so appreciative of all of the parent volunteers who created sets, costumes, and offered up their time to help.  And last but not least, we are so grateful to the staff and administration of the school who volunteered their time to make sure everything ran smoothly and everyone enjoyed themselves.  You are all the "pride ...

  • Black History Month - Wax Museum Today I had the honor of visiting class 4-403's Wax Museum celebrating Black History Month.  The students did an incredible job with their research and their presentations!  It was fantastic to see some of the many African-Americans who made such amazing contributions to our country and our society celebrated by our students.  Great job 4-403!!!!!  And thank you to Ms. Curtis for organizing and working with your students to present the 4th Annual Wax Museum.

Uniforms

P.S. 108 is a uniform school.  Students should wear navy blue pants, skirt, or jumper and a light blue collared shirt (button down or polo).  You may purchase the uniforms at any store you wish.  Some suggestions of where you can find them are Cookies, Children's Place, Target, JC Penney, etc.

Take a walk down the halls of PS 108 and explore the world of art through the eyes of our talented students.
